SOLSC 2014, Slice 7

My gym is having a “stay healthy” challenge. I was very gung ho to sign up when I first read about it. The deadline ends in three days. Still haven’t signed up.

The only thing I want out of this is to get back on track with exercise. But I haven’t signed up yet, mostly because they apparently do a “pre-assessment” and I don’t want to see the numbers. I know this is the most I have ever weighed in my life, and I know that there is no reason for it.

I just feel embarrassed right now, and I don’t know if seeing these numbers will give me the kick in the booty I need or if I’ll just completely give up.

I guess we’ll see soon. I’m going to the gym tonight and the plan is definitely to sign up as I leave. Hopefully I’ll have a really awesome working- sometimes, the more stressed out I am the better the workout is.

  1. Don’t give up because of the pre-assessment challenge! I am at my heaviest weight and I understand how frustrating it can be. It’s easy to fall into those depressing thoughts but don’t let them get the best of you. I hope you do sign up and I wish you MUCH success!!!

  2. I hope you signed up!!! Baby steps. Take each day for what it is— don’t focus on the past and too far ahead in the future. Baby steps.

    1. I did! Now if you haven’t run on the treadmill yet you have to soon. 😉

      1. I haven’t been to the gym since Wednesday but I will run on the treadmill the next time I am there— which should be tomorrow! I am proud of you! 🙂
